#425: I had a refund for a wrong payment, how long does Credit Card refund take, how many days do I wait?
Up to a month usually; basically if we told you we refunded, it means we have already refunded the amount from the payment gateway processor - a digital point of sales device provided by bank, but the banks are greedy, they keep this money for a month, and reflect the refund to your next billing cycle, and from our experience there is absolutely no way to make this process faster. However, some banks are nice to their customers and refund faster, but we do not know how many days you would wait, in the worst case scenario you should have the money back within a month or so, we heard stories of people waiting 2 billing cycles but as we usually see the money goes back within 15 to 30 days, it depends when your credit card billing cycle is.
