#254: I do not know why I could not pay for my submission. I have successfully nominated three of my other projects. Could you please tell me if there is something wrong with the payment system or if you could suggest other ways of payment?
This happens sometimes since we have an Italian Virtual POS terminal. Your transactions pass from a POS (Point of Sale) terminal in Italy. When you nominate multiple designs using your credit card, sometimes your bank security system could mistakenly believe that your credit card is being used abroad. Especially if it is used for consecutive transactions, after 2 or 3 transactions, your bank may reject processing payment. When this happens, you have several alternatives. To bypass this issue you can pay with a different credit card or if you wish to use the same credit card, you can do so by paying through PayPal interface with your Credit Card. Since PayPal has subsidiaries in all countries, your payment would be processed through a POS in your country, and thus your bank will approve the transactions. If you wish to pay offline, alternatively wire-transfer could be used as a payment option. We shall also remind that a reason why the payment would not process could be because your credit-card limit would be reached, and also our POS device does not support American Express cards, in case you were trying to pay with them.
