#237: Is there a design brief that I need to download or follow in order to enter the design competition? If so where can this be located? If there is no particular design brief am I eligible to design anything as long as it comes under the chosen category?
There is not a particular design brief to follow in order to take part in the competition, however for each category we have awarding and evaluation criteria that should be fulfilled. Although these criteria varies from one category to another, in essence they are about the design of a project from different perspectives; i.e. consideration of aesthetics, engineering, and economic aspects. Since there is not a specific brief, you can design anything as long as it fits one of our award categories, which was designed to be as inclusive as possible, otherwise creations could be submitted to the Unexpected design category.
