#214: Can I submit a Tiff file?
For the main and optional images, tiff files should be converted into compressed jpeg images before you could submit them. Try to optimize (export) your jpeg file so that in the end it will become around 2mb file size file at maximum. However, as an alternative, you could include the tiff files in the pdf documentation. Tiff files can be converted to jpeg using any photo editing software easily, however, if your file is larger than 3600x3600 pixels, it is suggested that you scale your original image first to fit 3600x3600 pixels and then export in jpeg as the results will be better.
