Millo Appliances is a foodtech company whose mission is to inspire people to embrace a healthier and more sustainable diet through the development of innovative solutions for simple, enjoyable food preparation. The company’s first foodtech gadget is the Millo blender. Re-imagining the traditional blender from the base up, the millo blender combines cutting edge technology, minimalist design and materials of the highest quality to create a gadget so unique that Mashable wrote, “If Apple made a blender, this would be it.” Millo doesn’t need any buttons - it can be controlled from anywhere on its 360-degree, touch-sensitive surface, as well as via its own smartphone app. It is cordless, fully portable, and can make up to 10 smoothies on the go with just one charge. The Millo blender is powered by Millo’s patented Magnetic Air Drive, which was developed and patented by the company’s Founder and CEO Ruslanas Trakselis. Based on cutting edge drone technology, the Magnetic Air Drive means that the blender is the quietest on the market. Not only that, with a three level security system, it is also one of the safest. Millo Appliances has raised a total of €1.5 million in investment. Its Kickstarter campaign in 2017 raised over €100,000 and saw over 300 reservations for Millo in less than 30 days.
