Kenarköşe is a multidisciplinary creative studio based in Turkey that aims to find inclusive and effective design solutions in different scales. Founded by two architects Gizem Akdağ and Merve Okçu, works of Kenarköşe synthesize strategic thinking with the creative vision in different fields such as graphics and identity, architecture and interior design, exhibition, digital media, websites, and product design. Kenarköşe has a small, dedicated team consisting of three architects and an industrial designer who is graduated from the same school, Middle East Technical University. This background creates a similar vision in itself which reflects to design process and final products. Each designer in the team is directly in the creative phase of the work with a collaborative process, which ensures the progressive quality of the works. Also, there is a one-to-one relationship with every client. That avoids miscommunications and brings out a more satisfying work in a short time. What makes Kenarköşe different is the ability to provide design services in different design fields on every scale. Generally, the logo is the starting point of the projects, followed by branding, product design, website design, interior design, and architecture. The main aim is to compose an integrated brand identity that is visible in every detail from printed media to digital media. The distinctive feature of the company is the ability to reflect these to spatial design. Visualizing the space has a very important role in achieving an integrated corporate identity.
