Alexander & Turner studio creates original images for the pharmaceutical, biomedical technology markets, synthesizing complex information into accurate visual science with clarity and visual impact.

High-impact visual science problem solving not only requires technical understanding of the subject, but also imagination, insight, aesthetics, scientific integrity, sophisticated design and a compassionate viewpoint. Collaborating with researchers, authors, innovators, inventors, and creative directors at healthcare agencies and corporate departments, Cynthia helps visualize new advances and understandings to help bring biomedical advances to light. Cynthia Turner is a board certified medical illustrator with over 30 years of experience. She hand paints in Photoshop, incorporates 3-dimensional images she creates in Cinema4D, incorporates biologic data from the Protein Data Bank, a database for three-dimensional structures of large biological molecules, or from CT scan voxels from data captured when diagnostically scanning the human body. Her work has garnered numerous industry awards and recognitions, and appears in the annual juried RxClub Show - Best in Medical Advertising and the annual salons of the Association of Medical Illustrators.
