With its handmade rattan beds for children, the manufacture BERMBACH Handcrafted fulfils the desire of many parents: The need of an individual and sustainable furniture, which can be enjoyed for a very long time.

Our goal is to manufacture products of the highest possible quality so that the claim to sustainability also extends the general state of mind concerning sustainable consuming in every day life. In other words we want support the awareness through our long-lasting products that it is worthwhile to invest in high-quality workmanship and sustainable materials. Before our journey began we searched for baby cribs for our own children. However we had to realize that, despite its positive properties - light, robust, durable, weatherproof, sustainable - rattan is hardly used in children's furniture, especially beds. So we figured we have to show some initiative of our own. We came upon the idea of designing classical wicker furniture ourselves and founded a workshop in 2017. Our beds are not only stable and practical but also speak to our senses. It reminds us of the beauty of functionality joined together with aesthetics, and the wonder of how natural materials and skilled craftsmanship are able to work together in perfect unison.
