While traveling throughout different cities, four designer and architect have seen numerous styles of architecture from London, Paris, Milan, Tokyo, New York, and many others. Yet in Taiwan, other than Taipei 101 that stands tall above the clouds, what other cultural assets are worth sharing with the future generation? Taiwan has been surpassed by many countries and cities and has never been able to develop its own distinctive architecture. With such pursuits and doubts, four companions rejoined and created Journey Architecture and began their adventure together. "When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it" is a quote from the novel The Alchemist by author Paulo Coelho. This quote came true during their process of starting Journey Architecture. To recreate and beautify the surface of our home through urban renovations, reconstructions and new constructions that ultimately provide cultural significance and change the hearts and minds of the community is JA's design intention.
