Laboratory for Diverse Status (LDS) is a global interdisciplinary design studio, focuses on the design and research of architecture, urbanism, industry and media.

We recognize that architecture is fundamentally an urban artifact that coexists with the environment and infrastructure and situates itself respectfully in the culture of its place. We understand that careful deliberation with a critical understanding of the local culture is what is necessary to foster a synergetic relationship between the architecture and its environment. Architecture and urbanism become active agents which shape, provoke, and stimulate the city and the people. It is rooted at the dynamism created at the intersection of technology, environmental consciousness, cultural awareness and user experience. The work invests a strong focus in developing new methods of work through the techniques of advanced digital computations that reflect both the engineering capability alongside a productive generation of a new aesthetics towards architecture that is sensual and responsive.
