Established in 2013, the Company boasts a knowledgeable team with decades of experience in the medical devices industry and in particular the rapidly growing safety devices market. As Government healthcare systems worldwide become increasingly aware of both the human and financial cost of needlestick injury to healthcare workers there is a mounting transition to the use of safety engineered injection devices. Métier Medical is dedicated to providing simple, affordable safety solutions to meet current and future market demand placing a strong emphasis on the development of new and innovative safety products. Key to its portfolio is the Métier Medical Safe-T-Clip ™ Safety Needle with patent pending Secure-Lok ® locking system designed to fit any standard luer lock or luer slip syringe. In addition, the Métier Medical Safe-T-Point range features a manual retractable syringe, available as Insulin U100 syringe or Tuberculin syringe. Other products in the range include safety infusion sets and safety blood collection devices. The Company proudly supports the World Health Organisation’s safe injection policy with the aim to transition healthcare systems worldwide to safety engineered injection devices by 2020. Métier Medical is represented on the WHO working committee to implement this initiative by it’s US based Director Larry Minix. In it’s three short years and with the support of a passionate team of professionals and an equally passionate shareholder base, the Company is gaining recognition for its dedication to the promotion of safe injection policy and its development of safety injection devices. Not only does the Company develop and market a range of safety products but its team is committed to the further education of healthcare workers, procurement officers and medical professionals in understanding the current risks and statistics surrounding the incidence of needlestick injury and reuse and the importance of safe injection policy into the future. Many healthcare workers have never been exposed to the range of safety injection devices available and part of Métier Medical’s education initiative is to demonstrate a range of products which now exist in the market. Whist the Company’s engine room is based in Australia, it is supported by offices in Hamburg, Germany, Florida, USA and Wuxi, China. It’s global Management team is made up of professionals not only from International Sales and marketing backgrounds with major global medical supply Companies but also medical device manufacturing. As the Safety Device market continues to evolve and expand, Métier Medical is well positioned to participate in this growth; delivering quality products with costs that allow for market penetration. Even in difficult times, country healthcare systems are finally realizing the true cost of needlestick injury. Although a relatively new purveyor to the safety devices market, Métier Medical with a strength of knowledge and experience behind it aims to be an influential contributor to the education, development and provision of safety engineered medical devices well into the future.
