TBDC was established by Janus Huang and main services are architecture and interior space plan/design. TBDC is the first company in Taiwan who won the Red Dot Design Award (2007) and be invited to become an iF member.

Taipei Base Design Center (TBDC) was established by Janus Huang in 2002. The main services we provide are architecture space plan/design, interior space plan/design, media/visual design/ restaurant management consultant and image planning/design consultant. We are headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, branched in Shanghai, Beijing and Qingdao. Also, we cooperate with Europe/America companies, in order to exchange design source and show them the design aesthetic of Asia. These achievements are due to the insistent upon “design is achieved by fulfilling the basic need and the style would come naturally ”by Janus Huang. TBDC is the first company in Taiwan to get the Red Dot Design Award (2007) and be invited to become a German iF (International Forum Design) member then. With the advance of great reputation, more awards was announced to TBDC, such as “The Annual Outstanding Designer Award” from MDIMA and several items from 2009 International Architecture Festival and The Golden Interior Design Award. Thus, Janus came into his own as “The most popular designer” from the 2009 American Interior Design Magazine selection. Further, TBDC is the only winner in Taiwan entitled“The Annual Interior Design Enterprises“and “The Annual Best Interior Design Company in China“.
