Verpackungszentrum Graz is a family enterprise which has specialised on biogenic packaging materials. Since more than 20 years the trading company also has invested in Research and Development Projects.

Verpackungszentrum Graz has been selling packaging since 1982. The firm´s owner, Susanne Meininger has defined the product range in principle as packaging systems for the sectors fruit, vegetables, meat, eggs and fast food. The most important selection criterion for a product is its environmental tolerance. In 1989, the Verpackungszentrum Graz specialized on the sale of biodegradable materials. In 1994, the Verpackungszentrum Graz started its first research project in this area. Around 80% of packaging used in the wholesale trade is of biogenic origin today.
