“LT identity” is the most prominent line of fashion designers Ieva Seviakovaite and Jolanta Rimkute’s design work, encompassing not only clothing, but also various everyday use items. All of these things reflect the designer’s conviction that Lithuanians are creating their new identity, which has enough space for both respect for the past and a desire to take a step into the future, here and now. Through its works, the “LT identity” team seeks to analyze the cultural experience of Lithuania’s citizens and look for new symbols and contemporary identity tokens, creatively interpreting them and shaping today’s Lithuanian’s positive self-image.
