Located in the heart of New York City’s Diamond District, Leon Megé, Inc. has grown exponentially since it was founded in 1996. What started as a visionary jeweler doing contract work for the trade in a tiny makeshift workshop grew into a company that employs European-trained jewelers and setters working on the designs of Leon Mege. Today Leon Megé Inc. is a successful business with both a domestic and international customer base. Leon Megé Inc. specializes in designing platinum engagement rings. The company is a leader in the art of pavé and micro pavé jewelry setting, having set over hundreds of thousands of diamonds. Winner of the American Trade Gem Association Spectrum Award (2010, 2012), and AJDC New Talent Award (2012), Leon Megé Inc. is acknowledged for its ingenuity in design and high standard in production. Leon Megé Inc. is a vertically integrated company; it operates in all stages of jewelry development: precious stone sourcing, design, production, and retail. With one consistent vision throughout the process, the jewelry is created in-house from start to finish without the assistance of computer generated modeling (CAD). A team of highly trained jewelers and setters is employed to handcraft unique pieces of jewelry under the artistic supervision of Leon Megé. All stone setting is done under a microscope, using 32x magnifications. The company retains the intimacy of a family business. Each project is a direct collaboration between the designer, Leon Mege, and the client to create an exclusive personal experience.
