My creative journey began as an exchange student in Korea, which inspired me to pursue an MFA in Visual Communication Design at the Korea National University of Arts.
Blending my Filipino roots with Korean influences, I create playful and culturally rich illustrations that celebrate identity and creativity. I am committed to illustrating for life, and as I prepare to venture into business through my EMBA, I aim to bridge art with strategy and contribute to building meaningful and sustainable design.
My perspective on design and art begins with joy. The act of creating gives me energy and a deep sense of fulfillment. Each work starts with careful planning, and while there is always a quiet fear that the outcome may fall short, the satisfaction of seeing a vision realized makes the process worthwhile.
I believe that art and design are more than personal expression. They are bridges that connect people, cultures, and emotions. When someone is touched by my work, that shared response gives me purpose and confirms the power of creativity to inspire, comfort, and bring meaning to life.
For me, design and art are not only ways to communicate but also ways to live fully and to contribute something lasting to the world.
