CLIENTELE:
This villa project was implemented on a triangular 300-square-meter plot with budget constraints, resulting in a compact two-level structure covering 100 square meters. The upper level accommodates parking and bedrooms, while the ground floor features a living area, kitchen, and small pool.
The site's primary challenges included its unconventional shape and an 80-year-old heritage tree at its perimeter. Due to the plot's acute angle and poor street access in one section, the villa was strategically positioned at the rear of the property. The ancient tree became a pivotal design element, with the building's form organically wrapping around it to create harmonious coexistence.
A 2-meter elevation difference between the street and site enabled innovative spatial solutions. This grade variation facilitated both a sunken pool area and the creation of a rooftop garden above the living space. First-floor bedrooms incorporate strategic setbacks to optimize natural lighting. The ground floor opens onto a terrace that seamlessly integrates with the kitchen, while direct access between the pool area and outdoor space establishes a strong indoor-outdoor connection.
By intelligently addressing site constraints and incorporating natural elements, this project presents a successful example of architectural integration with its surroundings. The design achieves both functional efficiency and aesthetic harmony with the landscape.
