About Mona Vijaykumar : Mona Vijaykumar is an architect, urban designer, and technologist with an award winning global portfolio spanning the United States, India, and the Middle East. As an
Associate Urban Designer at Perkins and Will Boston, she leads transformative projects for Institutional campuses, cities, and health districts that advance ecological performance, cultural identity, and economical development.
She holds a Master of Science in Architecture Studies and Urbanism from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Her work has been recognized with the 2025 Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) Excellence in Planning Award, the 2023 Boston Society of Landscape Architects (BSLA) Merit Award, and national honors in India.
Mona drives innovation at the intersection of design, technology, and sustainability—leveraging data-driven strategies and community-centered approaches to address climate resilience, spatial equity, and systems-scale transformation.
