He is interested in how design can solve real-life problems, especially in areas related to public safety, emergency support, and user convenience. Throughout his studies, he has continuously gained experience through observation, interviews, and hands-on practice, while refining his approach to better align his work with actual needs.
His projects are often inspired by everyday scenarios and focus on addressing practical user challenges rather than simply pursuing form or aesthetics. From hand sketches to 3D modeling and prototype making, he is involved in every step of the process and continuously improves the details through real-world testing to ensure functionality and usability.
He believes that design should stay close to the field—understandable, usable, and truly helpful. While still learning, he actively participates in design competitions and exhibitions, applying what he learns in school to more practical and meaningful contexts.
Jhu Yun is currently in a stage of growth and learning. He maintains an open attitude toward design and is eager to listen to voices from different fields. Through design, he hopes to engage with society, solve problems, and bring attention to the overlooked needs of daily life.
