Graduated in painting in 1968 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, Croatia, under the mentorship of Ljubo Ivančić and Miljenko Stančić. He later pursued professional development in countries including Finland, Ireland, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Israel, and Japan.
