As an artist, it is necessary to see digital technology as an adversary or a simple tool, but a new possibility to seek co-existence between people, nature, and technology. In my view, such efforts will be an opportunity to broaden the scope of crafts and seek a new possibility.
STATEMENT OF ART:The entire process of making my work includes the following steps: select a topic considering the contemporary trend and social mood, and then visualize them. For instance, I create visual art works by applying aesthetic elements into topics ranging from environmental protection, interpersonal relation, and technological advancement. Doing this way encourages viewers to raise their awareness of issues of the period and lets them have a second thought on these matters.
