With a background in fashion design and ongoing doctoral research in biomaterials, her work transforms primarily silk-based textile waste into high-value materials, redefining the future of responsible design for the creative industries. Her work bridges tradition and technology, integrating time-tested craftsmanship with cutting-edge research to create adaptable, low-impact materials. Her project Chifil was recognized as a finalist for the Green Concept Award, highlighting her commitment to pushing the boundaries of sustainable design, while enabling accessibility and creative freedom for designers and makers.
