View Larger Image and Additional Photos of Mohamed Zakaria SoltanAbout Mohamed Zakaria Soltan : He is an Egyptian graphic artist and designer who has a passion for working in the fields of digital art and poster design. He is also an academic who teaches visual identity, sign & wayfinding systems, and poster design. He has taught in many faculties of applied arts in Egypt in the field of “advertising.” He is interested in conceptualism, art, and their relationship to digital technology. Additionally, he loves traditional arts that have historical legacy and heritage, including those from ancient Egyptian civilization as well as the arts of old China, Greece, Italy, India, and others from the ancient civilizations.
Design is life in all its meanings—designers design from life to life.
Art is for galleries and museums, but design is the art of life and for life.
The designer must learn science to be able to create effective design for life, while art can stem from feelings and sensations, and it can be primitive and innate, and it should not be closely linked to science.
