A graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology with a Master's degree in Architecture, he is a proponent of continuous learning and skill enhancement in both design and technical realms. Mingshan's design philosophy is characterized by a blend of humility and a conscientious approach towards the environment and the context of his projects. His commitment to sustainability is reflected in his LEED AP and WELL AP certifications.
In his architectural endeavors, Mingshan has focused on a range of project types, with a notable emphasis on transportation infrastructure. He has played pivotal roles in major projects such as the Midway Airport Security Bridge Expansion, the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport Holdroom Competition, and the O'Hare T2 Redevelopment Competition. His experience also extends to a variety of other ventures, including the Chicago CTA Red and Purple Line Modernization and the Chicago Culture Masterplanning. Currently, he is deeply involved in the multifaceted development of the new Terminal 1 at San Diego International Airport.
