During her academic journey, she has been involved in projects that explore alternative solutions to the environmental challenges faced by the construction industry. In her Master's dissertation in Industrial and Product Design, she delved into the problem of waste generated by this sector, developing a circular material that was honoured at the Green Concept Awards and IF Design Student Awards. She is currently researching the material developed and exploring the incorporation of blown glass into construction and demolition waste.
STATEMENT OF ART:In my concept, art and design go hand in hand as mechanisms for social and political transformation, and can make a significant contribution to tackling society's current problems. In the context of the urban environmental crisis, artists and designers are capable of incorporating values and ways of thinking, and must therefore re-signify the development of their interventions by creating pieces, products, systems and services that will help future generations.
