The first part of my career began at the INBAL School of Design, and I graduated as a textile designer from the Ibero-American University.
In 2005, I started working at the textile company Maharam in Mexico, and it opened my eyes to a whole new world. Different designers and manufacturers from around the world began a revolution to incorporate technology, design, beauty, and functionality into textiles, making them a tool for interior design. I am one of the pioneers in the Contract world in Mexico.
Textile designer? Interior designer? My work encompasses a bit of both disciplines, but I define myself as a textile artist. Because, in addition to functionality, my craft has a lot of art.
And as a skilled artist-artisan, I have a special sensitivity for the materials I work with, appreciating fabrics with almost all of my senses: touch, smell, visual effect, and the function they serve within spaces.
And today, I have over 20 years of passion for interior design and a sharp specialization in FF&E.
I currently have my own design studio where I create textiles, furniture, tapestries, and complete projects. I also collaborate with major architecture firms in the Hospitality sector, providing consultancy services.
