I am working as an Associate Professor, in the Department of Design at Banasthali Vidyapiyh, Rajasthan, India. I have core expertise in Home Textile, Apparel, and Fashion Technology (Weaving with CATD, Dyeing and Printing with CATD, Garment Designing and Fashion Illustration with CATD, and have done many aspects areas of the Projects and Fabric Testing). I have taught B. Des. and M. Des. students last twenty years and two years of industrial work as a designer. I have done a Ph.D. in Textile and Apparel at Banasthali Vidyapith. I have published eight research papers in National and International Journals and published a book titled "Fashion Transformation of the Kota Doria". I have done work on bamboo fabrics with weave designing, fabric quality, and exploration of natural dyes on bamboo fabrics for sustainability. I have an interesting research area in textile technology with electronics components, optical fibers, and solar energy combined with textile applicable for textile and fashion also.
STATEMENT OF ART:Art is creative and aesthetic for the appeal of life which is based on a holistic perspective but Design is based on customer and market demand with aesthetic appearance. Design is a systematic approach with the Principle of Design.
