Dr. Jairo da Costa is an Assistant Professor at the University of Twente and an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Australia with over ten years of experience in Design for Sustainability and Systemic Design. They are the co-founders of the BBMLab. Bio-Based Materials Design Lab is an interdisciplinary research, design, and innovation hub to advance sustainable materials application and support the transition to a biocircular economy. Our mission is to create better living environments for people and regenerate the planet through design.
