He’s currently Coordinator Professor at ESAD CR / School of Arts and Design of Polytechnic of Leiria (Pt). Has worked at UÉ/ University of Évora; UBI/ University of Beira Interior; CSA/ Cascais School of Arts & Design; IADE/ Universidade Europeia; and ESG/ Escola Superior Gallaecia.
He’s a researcher in the field of design and sustainability since 2006, being a member of LiDA and collaborator of CIAUD Research Centers. Has previously worked with LabCOM, UNIDCOM and CIESG research centers. Has won the “João Branco National Design Research Award 2012” has part of the research team of the De.:SID Research Project.
José Vicente was Senior Designer at Almadesign where he participated in the development of more than 100 design projects, some of them awarded with Good Design Award or National Design Award. He was Board Member of the Portuguese Association of Designers.
