Creating collage-style illustration is her passion, beyond just a hobby.
She has lived, studied and travelled around mostly in Europe since childhood, almost half of her life has been sort of nomadic.
Due to transferring to different schools throughout her school life, she’s never had a chance to complete or major in art related degree. But Shih-Yi has attended several summer courses in order to gain more experiences, so that she could self-practice at home.

Art is part of life, a transparent presentation of humanity.
It is the creative expression of sensational freedom, a symbol of sublime. Sometimes it is presented in a form of void, I would like to think it as a process of healing.
In my opinion, art can reveal the truest reflection of who you are.
It helps you discover your inner self, go through the darkest or vulnerable moment in your life journey. Art is indeed spiritual and powerful.
