I graduated from college and have worked as a graphic designer, editorial designer, and advertising designer.
What I realized as a designer is the importance of basic skills in the field of vision. Communication speed is important in the design areas listed above. How can the composition, color, brightness plan, etc. be transmitted to people faster or get interested? When I first started working, I thought about what I learned when I was a student and the design of my work separately, so I couldn't make use of it in my work. However, at one point, when I started studying art and design, I realized that it was a foundation that I had already learned repeatedly, and I was able to connect it to my work. I also think it is the same in the field of illustration. Knowing the gimmicks that interest people in visual expression is in the early stages of students' learning.
Now that I am in a position to teach at university, I will pass on the knowledge and experience I have gained to young students, open up their talents, and make their lives better again. I feel the importance. Some students study design and illustration for the first time in college. As I continue my research and work on illustration, I believe that it is a social contribution to convey to students the importance of the basic skills in the visual field that I have realized, and to apply them widely.
