Profile: Kelly Ting

About Kelly Ting : Kelly Ting is an architectural undergraduate who hopes to promote positive changes in communities through her purposeful architectural designs and graphic illustrations. She is fluent in Mandarin, English, and Taiwanese. Her interest in communities has shaped her values of generosity and compassion. As a youth abolitionist for Hagar in 2019, her friend and her walked a 10km marathon in a wedding dress hand-cuffed together to advocate awareness among the local community on issues of human trafficking and forced marriages in Cambodia and Vietnam. She aspires to become an architectural entrepreneur, fostering positive communities through innovative architecture. She firmly believes architecture and any art forms, in general, have the power to heal one's spirit.
