I saves everyday memories into photos. Most of my memories come from my hometown Jeju. I have an interest in everyday sceneries faced in live and photos are saved to remember the everyday sceneries. I started investigating the theme called “memory” as I was diagnosed with possible vision loss one day. I searched a method to recognize and remember objects even in the case of vision loss and explored a method to recognize and remember objects through differing perceptions.
I studied a storage process of memories and recall and editing methods utilizing photo media and investigated a change occurred in the recall process based on the examples where photos were utilized in painting works. My works based on examined a method of how I, who was familiar with perceiving objects as flattened and fragmented objects due to 'if when i assume vision loss in future', perceived objects and assigned the memory input and how storage method into work production.
