In my term, Design means the ability to communicate virtually with the audience. For example, your Logo, Business Card, Product pictures, etc say more than you think. They are what define your business.
Art, for me, is Creativity. Any Graphic Design you do, is basically called art. People think is when you draw or make a sketch you are called an artist, NO, grapic designers are called Artists also because of their CREATIVITY.
