Like so many global centres, Wuhan is changing fast with the pace of urban development. Chang uses anthropological conversations with local residents and detailed drawing to identify much-loved details and elements to inform her designs. Yin focusses on historic material cultures with emotional impact to maintain the memory of the vanishing cityscape.
