View Larger Image and Additional Photos of Meng-Ju WuAbout Meng-Ju Wu : Studying at the Graduate Institute of Applied Arts in National Tainan University of Arts, majoring in metalsmithing.Graduated from the department of Art and Design of National Tsing-Hua University in 2015. While the development of new technologies for metalwork since last year summer, he has consecutively won international awards in the world. Start from the selection of the“19th Silver Triennial”in Germany；continued to be selected of the “ITAMI International Jewellery Exhibition”in Japan. And at the beginning of the next year, he won the Silver Prize at the“Amberif Design Award”in Poland. Recently, also selected of the“Japan Jewellery Competition”and“The Ishikawa International Urushi Exhibition”in Japan, , and selected of “Gioielli in Fermento 20 | 21” in Italy, recently won a bronze award at “New Taipei City International Metal Crafts Competition 2020” in Taiwan.
Between the exploration and experiment of the metal texture, I was fascinated by the physical state and chemical reaction of metal. Just like human skin, which will cause aging and wrinkles, it is a kind of material that can breathe, and he also like to continually experiment and break through the boundaries of metal processing through such characteristics.
