About Masaki Iwabuchi : According to his past +10yrs of academic & business leadership experience with emerging design methodologies and collaboration with business, technology, art, and anthropology, he has been redefining the word “DESIGN” as a culture that every business person should have in the 21st Century, and defined five core modes of thinking: Design Thinking, Systems Thinking, Critical Thinking, Visionary Thinking, and Mediative Thinking. Using these mindsets, he is now delivering a new design education for all business people and executives. Also, in the practical field, he is leading product & service design and delivering innovation & transformation in mainly Manufacturing, Finance, and Public sectors. His expertise is shaping a creative team itself from the ground up and helps organizations grow their creative practice while aligning cross-functional talent, managing the productivity of initiatives & delivering greater conversion and lifetime value.
STATEMENT OF ART:
Masaki is a Design director, researcher, and educator based in NYC.
