Profile: Beata Nikolajczyk-Miniak

About Beata Nikolajczyk-Miniak : Doctor of design arts, scientific and research worker at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. Enthusiast of balanced design and activities promoting science in particular research works. She specializes in designing product designs, visual communication and exhibitions. One of her works dealing with the issue of balanced design was awarded the Award of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. In addition, she is a laureate of the following competitions: Mazda Design, Make me, Strzemiński-Projekt, Design 28, Year 2012, Competition for an idea, Fashion for recycling, Wedel Vintage. Her design achievements also includes a patented invention. She regularly co-creates and participates in various plein-airs, workshops and artistic events. In her realizations she uses the possibilities offered by modern technological development. Equally to innovation, she values functionality and product aesthetics. In her projects, she tries to use the unity and balance between these two values.
