About Yixue Li : Ivy Yixue Li is a graphic designer and part-time faculty at Parsons School of Design. Her design practice revolves around languages, linguistics, (mis)translations, and (mis)communication. Her recent research looks at how vernacular visual language (or the lack thereof) speaks about socio-economic disparities in China, in order to remind viewers/consumers of the gap between production and consumption.
