As chinese designer, all his masterpieces of banquet ware have renewed reputation of ceramic design of China's ceramic industry.
The study in Alfred University is important experience for me, it gives me a mirror to look at tradition with new perspective, attracts my interest and curiosity to deeper traditional humanity. I have taken my considerable time on traditional ceramic. Now, China is supporting renewed interpretation to traditional culture, I am encouraged with this sentiment to prompt Chinese living wisdom and delicacy. Just like lady turquioa collection, regionally, the blue hue is soft, fresh and elegant, like water of West Lake but it is also widely recognized internationally. While blue as dominated hue, I have added black elements, lines as accents to connect western and oriental taste. I hope my design of banquet ware is not only to serve state dinners but the reflected classic culture can be enjoyed by people with delight and tacit understanding
