RAHMAN AHMED : Prof., Dr., Adel Abdel-Rahman, a fine artist, graphic designer, academic and researcher, with more than four decades of experience in the practice of arts, teaching, doing research and scientific studies, supervising master's and doctoral dissertations, and promoting universities members in Egypt and other universities. He studied many fields of plastic arts: design, decorations, art history and its development in the world, just as he studied photography, painting, collage, drawing, graphics, textiles, leather works, wood, paper, metals, sculpture, pottery ...etc. He studied in Germany and resided there from 1991 to 1997 in the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, Germany. He held more than 400 cultural activities locally, regionally, and globally (Exhibitions - symposiums - workshops - conferences - block seminars...etc). International books were written on him, and he traveled in many countries of the world. Serbia named him “Art Ambassador” and printed a book in his name with the same title. Germany also wrote a book about him called “Adel Abdel Rahman”. He was invited to be honored in many countries, including Germany, Serbia, Turkey, Russia, Greece, Austria, Switzerland, Algeria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Oman.
He is an active member of the European Academy of Natural Sciences(EANS), Hanover, Germany, holder of the Italian Scientist and Artist Medal (Leonardo da Vinci),He also holds the “Leonard Euler” Medal from the European Academy of Natural Sciences, Hannover, Germany, 2023. and a number of certificates of appreciation from many countries.
Art is a form of visual expression of identity and heritage. From my point of view, art is not art unless it is beneficial to society. It goes out to people outside the exhibition halls. It enters their lives, homes, clothes, cars, and accessories. Art is not art unless it affects people, modifies their behavior, and activates them. Their innovative ability, enhances their conscience and human feelings, improves public taste, and gives people joy and happiness through the philosophy of shapes and colors.
