Jones’ ethos is to create timeless ready-to-wear clothing that emboldens the wearer and celebrates femininity in a way that is both reflective and contemporary. Sculptural silhouettes seek to reinvent volume typical of historic feminine dress and creates a unique fit that alternates between following the female form and subverting it. Semiotics and ergonomics navigate her work, in order to bolster women’s equal rank and their unique strengths.
Her use of fabrication alternates between handmade prints and up-cycled second-hand upholstery.

I believe that design and art not only has the opportunity to start conversations and document the socio-political contexts of the time, but also brings joy and beauty to otherwise difficult existences.
