She has worked on several projects overseas and in her country Pakistan. Her main forte is residential.Her love and passion for interior design is reflected in her work and she is a dedicated designer who will always put the needs of her clients first, without compromising on the aesthetics of her work. Her philosophy in life is to make the world more beautiful, touch souls with her work and create magic. She also is part of a public sector govt. owned children hospital where she volunteers and raises funds to help save thousands of childrens lives. Currently, she is involved with making a new ICU wing and obtain life saving medicines for the under priviliged kids. Her hobbies include reading, listening to jass music and meditating.She meditates almost daily and is doing intermediate and advance courses in meditation.
STATEMENT OF ART:Design to me is the same as breathing or living. It is what cultivates and nurtures my creative thoughts and brings color to my life. Without designing, I would merely exist but not live. It fuels my spirit and energizes my soul. In designing, I find myself and give myself wholly to the product or space that I am designing.
I find my inspiration from everything. Sometimes I may find it in simple things when I dream or when I visit different places, from the sunshine, the ocean. Sky is the limit! Anything that touches my heart or makes me smile is my source of inspiration and I try to translate those emotions and feelings of joy into art by creating a product or space. For example, in my first job I saved months of salary to buy a pair of shoes from Christian Louboutin. Years later when I launched my interior design studio & furniture company, I made a furniture console with legs that wore the same shoes as part of my design. Its very close to my heart.
My biggest achievement is when i create a beautiful space and i know it will create many happy, everlasting memories in my client's space and lives. Their appreciation is my reward, when i know i have touched their soul with my work and ideas. I try to create beauty and pass that joy wherever i go. Making the world more beautiful, adding colors and joy is a lovely feeling. Knowing I have contributed towards it and played my role is a sense of achievement.
