About Maria Ximena Gonzalez Alfonso : My name is Ximena. 37 years old. I am from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am a multimedia designer. I got my degree of Graphic Designer attending to “Universidad de Buenos Aires”
I have studied and lived here pretty much all my life except for the period of time that I lived in Dublin. Ireland . The place I choose to improve my english and had the chance of working in a foreign culture.
As for my career and skills, I have a degree in Graphic Design but while I was studying I realized that I felt very comfortable working with technology so I took on several web an animation courses. Also artistic workshop as drawing and painting.
I have been working as a multimedia designer in some companies and as a freelancer for 10 years now. My mixed profile (creative and technical) allow me to do different kinds of works in the same job. I am very versatile. I feel comfortable doing websites as also designing characters.
Apart from working as a multimedia designer I like designing and modealte my characters in maya and zbrush. I would like to make lots of shorts stories in 3d with my characters (actually I have three or four of them) because I enjoy so much giving life to my own creations.
I think I am a very creative and fun person, with lots of stories and experiences to share .Lots of people suggest me to write a blog o do stand up, because I am very fun telling stories (It doesn't matter if it is actually fun or sad ) but expressing myself in public is not my goal, but a good animated character could represent me easily .
My dream is to be able to communicate all those stories in a fun way, to support people to have faith and follow their dreams, something life is taught and hopeless and being in touch with other's experience is very helpful. I started to animate and modellate in 3D after I finished my studies. I didn't mind I was “late”. There is no time to find your passion and motivation. I didn’t have the chance to work in an 3D team, that is why I am working on my own with this kind of projects.
Have my own animated serie is my dream. I am very sensitive and fond of astrology as well. I think that this knowledge mixed with my artistic background would give an amazing result.
