In her journey within the creative industry, she seamlessly merges inspirations from various domains, drawing from fields like philosophy, music, post-humanism, and sustainability-related topics, among others. With a professional background in apparel design and surface smart textile design, coupled with her proficiency in the digital realm, Ruan possesses a rich and diverse skill set that fuels her creative endeavors. This diverse expertise makes her enthusiastically open to participating in multidisciplinary collaborative projects that consistently push the boundaries of creative exploration.
As a fashion designer, I have an interest in creating philosophical and conceptual works that challenge people to think about the different aspects of design. I want to inspire people to look at fashion differently and to appreciate the research and effort that goes into each collection.
