I worked as the creative head for a fashion retailer that used Naomi Campbell as the face of their brand. I was self-taught. I started as a junior in a few design shops and worked my way up. I enrolled in Vega in 2017 to do my Honours in graphic design, which I completed in mid-2018 with distinction. I have worked for myself for many years, I have also owned and run two successful restaurants, but that is another story. I work for a few multinational companies based in SA, Stanley Black & Decker and Kimberly-Clark.
Living in South Africa, I have always been drawn to things that have an African feel, its part of my DNA. It will be Africas turn one day, to drive design trends. The one designer that I most admire is Garth Walker, an incredible South African designer.
