| STATEMENT OF ART: The world influences every stage of my work, seeing and being seen is something very present in the way I translate my aesthetic and view through creative projects, which in a way may explain why photography is the first step I take for everything. I photograph before painting, drawing or collaging. I photograph to translate my view, to remember, to translate the essence of atmospheres, places, objects or moments, by mixing the real with the potential that I fantasize for those things. Retelling and reinventing contemporary stories through colour and compositions that later on converge into printed textiles. The aim is to create something bigger than just a pattern, is to reflect what is behind it and provide it to a range of end uses, allowing it to become a high-end dress or a frame in a gallery.
