Lore's nature and nurture is to stay low-profile. She found the best way of expressing herself is through her jewelry.
Her purpose is for other women to feel empowered, significant & selfexpressed through wearing her statement pieces.
Lore wants to celebrate natural beauty and imperfections as people’s ‘flaws’ is what makes them unique. T here is no need to control everything, we should accept and enjoy change. Nature’s transformation in time e.g. erosion, new seasons, development of cultures,… as well as our own bodies transforming through aging, pregnancy, vitiligo, albinism,… is to be honoured.
Lore Segers' latest collection highlights the oxidation of several metals. A natural process which is basically the destruction of the metal through ageing. What would take years/decades in natural circumstances, is manipulated to achieve these beautiful colors and textures within hours/days. Hence the name of the collection, Fast Forward. And so the collection is an 'Ode to imperfection', celebrating uniqueness as all pieces are handmade and undergo an unrepeatable gesture, making them as unique as their owners.
