| STATEMENT OF ART: I create light, structural jewelry that is fabricated from flexible stainless steel cable mixed with fine metals and gemstones. Each element is hand fabricated using a mixture of soldering, cold-connection techniques, and textile techniques applied to metal. Designing with the overall principles of proportion, scale and symmetry, I find inspiration in interpreting materials and creating new connection techniques. I experiment with quotidian materials like miniature, structural cable to create collections that are industrial but feminine and wearable. The sculptural collections find the extraordinary in the ordinary.
