Profile: MALLIKA SETH

About MALLIKA SETH : Mallika was born in Kolkata’s well-known family of entrepreneurs, engineers and doctors. She was the first to take up design as a profession across generations of the Rohatgi family. Through school she discovered her creative talents and her love for art, patterns, colours and textures, and enrolled for Architecture as a profession in 1995. She graduated as a 3rd topper from Nagpur University in 2000. Mallika started her career as an intern with Mistry Architects in Bangalore and thereafter worked with some of the best architectural design firms in Nagpur, Kolkata and Bangalore, where she now lives. She was part of the faculty of INIFD in Nagpur, teaching design and technical subjects to students there. After working for more than a decade in design firms, as Associate Architect and Head of Interior Design, Mallika went on to establish her own freelance design consultancy under her own name, Mallika Seth. Academically graduating as an Architect, she realized that she had a flair for interior design of spaces. Presently along with designing architectural spaces she specializes in Interior design.
